Angie Schultz is a South Carolina based comedian and show producer, and has been a client throughout 2023. Her request for her advertising is to make her flyers resemble ones made for night clubs and hip-hop artists. The flyer that I created for her is very colorful and vibrant, while also keeping an easy flowing hierarchy.
One of the trickiest things to do with creating flyers, is to edit the headshots entertainers are using, as they are not always professionally done, or the lighting in the photo doesn't agree with the other photos. In the flyer on the left, a couple headshots required a lot of careful attention and adjusting in order to not make their negatively alter their skin color.

Made for William Austin (2023)
William Austin is a Charlotte, NC based comedian and show producer. He hired me to create flyers for his monthly shows at The Hideaway: Lake Norman.
When creating the advertisement, I based the coloring on the colors featured in the venue's logo. The flyer also features an event logo, using an updated version of The Hideaway's existing logo (margarita green added to the glass and logo given a blue outer glow). This poster was met with great reviews from William Austin and the owners of the Hideaway.
